nder normal circumstances, the service life of the high-pressure hose assembly of the excavator is smaller than that of the excavator equipment itself. Therefore, during the daily use of the excavator, it is inevitable that the operation of replacing the high-pressure hose assembly will be encountered, in order to avoid the disassembly of the high-pressure hose assembly. An abnormality occurred during the installation process. The following article will introduce you to the excavator high-pressure hose assembly replacement steps, hoping to help you.

First, release hydraulic system pressure
Before replacing the high pressure hose assembly, the hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic circuit must be released. The following are the steps to release the pressure:
1. Park the machine on a level surface.
2. Fully retract the stick cylinder link. Adjust the position of the bucket so that the bucket is parallel to the ground. Lower the boom until the bucket falls horizontally on the ground.
3. turn off the engine
4. Turn the engine start switch to the on position, but do not start the engine.
5. Push the left console down to the unlocked position.
6. When the excavator pilot accumulator works well, only the joystick or pedal of the hydraulic circuit that needs to be repaired is moved to the full position. This will only release the high pressure in the single hydraulic circuit.
7. After releasing the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic circuit, pull the left console to the locked position.
8. Turn the engine start switch to the off position.
9. Slowly loosen the filler plug on the hydraulic tank to relieve pressure. The filler plug should remain loose for at least 45 seconds. This will release the pressure that may be present in the return hydraulic circuit.
10. Tightly tighten the filler plug on the hydraulic tank. After replacing the pipeline, apply the sleeve of 30 to tighten the bolt.
11. The pressure in the hydraulic circuit is now released and the line and components can be disconnected or removed.

Second, disassemble the high pressure hose assembly
1. If there is a connector for draining oil on the hydraulic line, first connect a hose, then loosen the oil connection, and the hydraulic oil in the pipeline will flow through the hose to the container for storing waste oil.
2. Remove the fixing bolt of the oil pipe clamp, first loosen one bolt on the outer side, then loosen the other bolt on the opposite side, and loosen the four bolts in diagonal order until the oil pipe is loose.
3. Unscrew one bolt in the middle of the retaining clip and remove a retaining clip and tubing fitting.
4. After removing the high-pressure hose assembly, confirm that the part number of the new oil pipe is the same as the part number on the original machine oil pipe, you can install the high-pressure hose assembly. If you have any questions, please contact the CAT related professional.

Third, install high pressure hose assembly
1. Check the hydraulic oil level. If there is insufficient oil level, it must be added to the normal oil level to use the machine.
2. If more hydraulic oil leaks due to damage of the high-pressure hose assembly, the hydraulic pump must be exhausted after the hydraulic oil is added. Start the machine and raise the boom and arm to the highest point.
3. Loosen the plug at the top of the hydraulic pump housing or the pump casing drain. Turn the engine start switch to the on position, but do not start the engine.
4. Push the left console down to the unlocked position. When the boom is lowered and the boom is lowered to the ground, the machine is started again to raise the boom and the arm to the highest point.
5. Cycle through this step several times to complete the hydraulic pump exhaust.
